Updated: Apr 27, 2022

In July, heavy rainfall has triggered devastating flooding causing more than 130 deaths in Germany with more than a thousand missing, destroying towns and villages across two of the country’s most populous states. Parts of Western Europe and Scandinavia are enduring a lasting heatwave. The unprecedented heat in Western North America has also triggered devastating wildfires.
